DOT-NL is the data platform where operators of publicly accessible charging points make data about the charging points available. NDW develops and manages DOT-NL on behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.

Submitting and consulting data

Are you a charging station operator and would you like to start supplying data? You can find the documentation for supplying data here. The documentation specifies which data categories are involved and which communication protocol is used.

We are still working on the documentation about consulting data.

Purpose of the platform

DOT-NL provides free access to up-to-date and accurate information about publicly accessible charging points.

This includes data on the location of charging points, the price of charging and whether a charging point is available. Data services can then offer this information to users of the charging points.

This only concerns publicly accessible charging points, and the target group is data services.

European obligation

Organising a National Access Point with information about charging points is an obligation for the Dutch government based on the European AFIR regulation. This regulation also specifies which data charging point operators must make available via the national access points.

The data platform will be integrated into the Digital Mobility Data System and linked to the NTM register.
